Glue-Bind Pre-Mailer Job Checklist

  • (2-Way Mailers, Catalog Order Form Inserts, Comment Mailers, Perforated Reply Cards)The minimum sheet width is 7" and the maximum sheet length is 22". If the sheet length is over 17-1/2", then it must be at least 8-1/2" wide.
  • Grain direction must be with the folds. Grain wrong set-up of $100.00 and an additional 5% may be added to the run charge.
  • The caliper of the stock must be between .0045 and .0068. 10% is added to the Run Charge for matte or gloss coated stock.
  • An overrun for set-up and waste is required. The minimum is 300 or 10%, whichever is greater of the finished count.
  • Because of critical panel sizes needed for accurate folding, it is recommended that ECS trim your stock to the one-up sheet. Critical folding register of pre-trimmed stock cannot be guaranteed. $100.00 per hour cutting charge will apply.
  • We can fold 3, 4, or 5 panels into a glued pocket with 1 or 2 perfs and a remoisten gum strip all parallel with the folds. Check if your piece will be roll folded or double parallel folded.
  • To find the correct price group, you will need to count the panels your piece has. Remember to count the glued pocket as panel 1 and 2.

FOR GLUE-BIND PRE-MAILERS
  • Let ECS trim your stock for best folding register for Glue-Bind Pre-mailers. Critical folding register of pre-trimmed stock can not be guaranteed.
